Something's Fishy in Mississippi

The Something's Fishy in Mississippi School Enrichment Module has completed pilot testing in the Golden Triangle Area and is now available to Mississippi classrooms

This module includes several components designed to meet Mississippi state curriculum requirements as well as educate students on the importance of fisheries resources, aquatic science, water quality, and conservation. A 6 ft X 12 ft display features activity centers which graphically depict fisheries and aquatic systems from the Ross Barnett Reservoir downstream through the Pearl River to the Gulf of Mexico. With this display, students are allowed to physically interact with the material, enhancing the learning process.

Contact your local county extension office to schedule this module at your school.
